In the latest development in the ongoing saga surrounding Bellingham and Real Madrid, the English midfielder has been forced to miss training due to minor muscle discomfort.

The 21-year-old, who joined the La Liga giants on loan from Liverpool earlier this year, was seen limping off during a training session at the club's training ground in Mestalla on Monday.

It is understood that the issue is not serious and that Bellingham will be assessed by the club's medical team ahead of their upcoming match against Alaves on Wednesday.

However, the news comes as a blow for Real Madrid, who were hoping to strengthen their midfield options with the signing of the England international.

Despite the setback, manager Carlo Ancelotti remains confident that his squad can cope without Bellingham, stating: "We have good players in our squad and we'll see what happens."

As for Bellingham himself, he has already expressed his disappointment at missing out on the match against Alaves, but is determined to make up for lost time when he returns to action.

"I'm disappointed I won't be able to play tonight," said Bellingham. "But I'll take it easy over the next few days and get back to full fitness as soon as possible."

With Bellingham now out of action, Real Madrid will need to find another way to replace him in the midfield, potentially turning to other loan signings or bringing in a new player from within the club's ranks.

Whatever the outcome, it is clear that the injury could have a significant impact on the team's chances of success in the coming weeks and months. However, with the likes of Luka Jovic and Vinicius Jr. also injured, Real Madrid may well need to rely on their young talents to step up and fill the void left by Bellingham.
