Chelsea have secured their first win in the Premier League this season with a thrilling comeback against Fulham at Stamford Bridge. The Blues started strongly and took the lead through Callum Hudson-Odoi in the eighth minute before Fulham levelled through Aleksandar Mitrovic in the 45th minute.
However, it was Chelsea who were back on top after the break as Timo Werner scored his first goal for the club in the 68th minute to put them 2-1 ahead. But Fulham did not give up and equalised through Ryan Sessegnon in the 79th minute.
The game went into extra time and it was Fulham who took the lead when Mitrovic headed home from a corner in the 103rd minute. However, it was Chelsea who had the final say as Mason Mount scored the winner in the 117th minute to secure all three points for the Blues.
It was a fantastic comeback by Chelsea and a credit to the team's spirit and determination. Sterling played a key role in the match, scoring one goal and making several important contributions. He has been in good form recently and is likely to be a key player for Chelsea in the coming months.
